The Subaru Ascent is the heaviest vehicle in Flat 4's Subaru lineup, and a tire built for a sedan-weight crossover doesn't hold up long under three rows of passengers and a full cargo area. The Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 covers the Ascent's 2019-2026 run with two 18" options: a Standard load tire sized to the factory wheel and an Aggressive, more off-road-focused tread for an Ascent running a wheel upgrade. Both sizes carry the three-peak mountain snowflake winter rating, which matters on an Alberta highway in January as much as it does on a gravel forestry road in summer. Neither size here is LT-rated, so there's no extra-load tradeoff to weigh, just the usual choice between a quieter highway-biased tread and a more aggressive one.
