Subaru Impreza models built with the 4EAT automatic transmission, spanning the original GC chassis through the pre-CVT generations, can protect their transmission pan with a dedicated Primitive Racing aluminum skid plate sized for that drivetrain. Newer 2017-and-later Impreza hatchbacks use Primitive's later shared-generation transmission plate instead. Both versions bolt on using existing factory mounting points, no drilling required, and shield the transmission pan from rocks and trail debris the same way Primitive's Front Skid Plate protects the engine.
