Low beams on a Crosstrek light the lane ahead but leave the shoulders dark, which is exactly where deer and washouts show up on a night drive along an Alberta highway. HRG Offroad Ditch Light Brackets put a pair of pod lights at the base of the windshield, aimed out to the sides where they do the most good. The brackets bolt to the existing hood hinge bolts with no drilling, and are made from 11 gauge steel or stainless steel with a powder-coated finish and stainless hardware. The 2013-2017 Crosstrek gets a choice of steel or stainless, while the 2024-2027 bracket comes in stainless. Lights are sold separately, and install takes about an hour.
