A 2026 or newer Subaru Outback Wilderness leaves the engine and oil pan covered only by the factory shield, which is not much when gravel roads and Alberta backroads throw rocks upward. The ADF Compact Engine Skid Plate is laser cut and formed from 3/16-inch 5052 aluminum and sits alongside the factory skid plate instead of replacing it. Its slim, smaller-footprint shape gives targeted coverage with minimal ground-clearance loss, and an oil drain access plate lets you reach the drain plug without removing the whole plate. It is the smaller and more affordable of the two ADF engine plates offered for the Subaru Outback Wilderness, with the larger version available for broader coverage.
