Unmaintained Crown land roads in Alberta are where a stock Outback starts dragging its rear bumper through ruts. ADF's 2" Lift Kit raises it with welded steel strut spacers at all four corners, built from 3/16" plate and a 1/4" solid centre tube. The 2000-2019 kits and the 2022-2025 Wilderness kit include 2" multi-link spacers to keep the rear wheels centred, while the 1995-1999 kit uses laser-cut trailing arm spacers for the older rear suspension. Front spacers carry camber and caster offsets to stay near factory alignment. A post-install alignment is still recommended for any Outback lift.
