A 2009 or newer Forester has a multi-link rear suspension, and lifting the body without addressing it pulls the rear tires out of centre and invites rubbing. ADF's 1-1/2" Lift Kit includes multi-link spacers (1/4" steel, TIG welded, with a two-piece bolt design that ties the upper half to the chassis and the lower half to the subframe) along with welded 3/16" steel strut spacers for the front and rear. Built-in camber and caster offsets help the car stay within factory alignment specs, and brake line brackets relieve tension on the lines. The 2014-2018 generation has separate kits for the 2.5L non-turbo and the 2.0XT, while 2009-2013, 2019-2024 and 2025-2026 each have one.
